GOOGLE EXPLOITS SLAVE LABOR OF CHILDREN TO MAKE MILLIONS

YOUTUBE, AQUIRED BY GOOGLE FOR 1.6 BILLION DOLLARS, IS USING CHILDREN TO PRODUCE %70 OF ITS CONTENT, PAYING THE 12-17 YEAR OLDS NOTHING WHILE MAKING MILLIONS EVERY MONTH FROM THEIR WORK, IN WHAT COULD BE THE LARGEST CASE OF CHILD SLAVERY EVER.

 Mountainview, CA - A recent report released by the Nielsen Ratings says that %70 of the millions of YouTubers are children. The report says, "12-17 years old index the highest among the various age groups." and this is creating quite a stir among childrens rights advocates calling it a, "gross violation of california law."

California law defines the entertainment industry as, "any organization, or individual, using the services of any minor in: motion pictures of any type (film, videotape, etc.), using any format (theatrical, film, commercial documentary, television program, etc.), by any medium (theater, television, videocassette, etc.); photography; recording; modeling; theatrical productions; publicity; rodeos; circuses; musical performances; and any other performances where minors perform to entertain the public.” 

  Obviously, Youtube falls under this category. Its owners, Google.com, will claim that the children it uses to produce millions of hours of video editing, rendering, acting, video and film, are not their employees. But again, california law (which google loves to tout as its constitution) states, "responsible persons may not permit a minor to perform these work activities under any circumstances, even if the minor is not technically his or her employee."  and the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement 46.1 defines hours worked as, "all of the time... suffered or permitted to work, whether or not required to do so." And the CA Child Labor Laws say, "private entities providing services...are not exempt from federal wage requirements, unless the service is related to skiing."

  Google is in violation of the law and is using illegal contracts to keep the kids quiet by making them think they are not entitle to wages because the children have, "parental consent." But in California, minors are required to have parental consent and a work permit to be legally employed in the state. The law reads, "Minors aged 15 days* to 18 years employed in the entertainment industry (as defined above) must have a permit to work and employers must have a permit to employ issued by the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement. Permits are required even when the entertainment is noncommercial in nature." It later says “Parents or guardians (in addition to employers, agents, managers, etc.) who permit the minor to be employed unlawfully in the entertainment industry (which includes any violation of state regulations governing minors in the entertainment industry] are liable for any civil and criminal penalties that arise from the violation."

   We seriously doubted parents would knowingly break the law and subject their children to this so we read the through the agreement contract on Youtubes website and nowhere did it require proof a signature of a parent/guardian or a proof of permit from the State . We searched the website for a permit to employ minors from the state of california and found none.

  Google seems to have predicted this eventuality and attempts to bully the kids with their illegal agreements on the youtube site saying, "Don't try to look for loopholes or try to lawyer your way around them—just understand them and try to respect the spirit in which they were created." Basically they are saying, dont use the law to expose our criminal operation because we meant well and you should trust us because we, "dont do evil." They are sounding more like the Bush administration all the time.

  There are several other laws that google forces children to waive their rights to for membership on the site, "You further understand and acknowledge that you may be exposed to User Submissions that are inaccurate, offensive, indecent, or objectionable, and you agree to waive, and hereby do waive, any legal or equitable rights or remedies you have or may have against YouTube with respect thereto, and agree to indemnify and hold YouTube... harmless to the fullest extent allowed by law regarding all matters related to your use of the site."

  This is also a violation of the California Child Labor law that states, "Minors under 16 MAY NOT be employed or permitted to work in any capacity  In any occupation dangerous to the life or limb, or injurious to the health or morals of the minor."  Luckily, California law voids illegal contracts and they don't hold up in court.

 Google may claim that its an undo hardship and too complicated to pay people, especially children, for the works they receive. So we checked other sites with similar video services. Panjea.com, who generates only a fraction of the revenue of google, is one such site who understands and obeys the law and gives its members and young filmmakers %50 of the ad revenue that is generated from their work and creative efforts.  We asked one member of panjea, known only as larf, how he feels about youtubes violations. "Im absolutely sickened by this but it really doesn't surprise me. Google tries to stifle competition while growing fat and generating record profits from  the slave labor of the very people that made it what it is today. You have to be suspicious about a company whos philosophy is, don't do evil. why isnt it, do good? If this isn't evil then what is? Is Google using  the same lawyer to help them change the meaning of evil, that Bush used to rewrite the definition of torture by the Geneva Convention?"

  Google has yet to comment on these gross allegations but a complaint is being filed to the california department of labor.

AN ARREST OVER BEER DRINKING LEADS TO A BEATING AND COVER-UP IN THE LAPD THAT APPEARS TO GO ALL THE WAY TO CHIEF WILLIAM BRATTON. THE CHIEF, HAS SO FAR, REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING EXCEPT ACCUSE THE PEOPLE WHO SPOKE OUT AGAINST THE OFFICERS.  BUT, THE REASON ITS ANGERED PEOPLE  IS NOT THE LAPD'S INITIAL DENIALS AND ACCUSATIONS, ITS THEIR CONTINUING LIES(CONTRADICTING THE VIDEO), CHANGING THE SEQUENCE OF EVENTS, COVER-UPS, AND ANY APOLOGY OR REMORSE.

      FIRST, we were told that the LAPD punched him a couple times because he was grabbing 4 their gun.  When that fell apart they said that the cameraman "must have conveniently stopped filming just as the suspect's hand was going for the pistol."

   "And you should wonder why the longer video suddenly stopped just as the suspect's right hand was approaching the gun holster of one of the officers."

Second, newspapers have published excerpts of the officers' own report of the arrest, in which they admit hitting the suspect in the head after describing the suspect's alleged resistance to arrest. It's very clear watching these videos that the officers are attempting to handcuff the suspect (one cuff is already on one wrist), but the suspect is not allowing that to happen.

    -so its, don't focus on the punches to his face (that they lied about in the arrest report, and didn't change their story  until the video was shown in court.) focus on the fact that he may have done something off camera, what resisting did the commissioner see in the vid? it should be in the transcripts, no? the only resistance i saw was his skull not imploding.

    Their is a point in the vid when 1 cop takes one hand away and the suspect has a free hand and uses it to cover his face when he couldve just as easily grabbed the weapon from the other officer, who had taken his hand off as well and turned away from the suspect...not exactly something you'd do if you were worried about being shot or trying to cuff someone.

The cop was unloading on the guy the same way, Jeremy Morse did, to   that black kid a while back. You are trying to change the sequence of events...even if they were justified in slamming him in the face while his back is      pinned to the curb, they LIED on the police report... and there has yet to be any apology for that.
  Why would they lie unless they had something to hide? Or did they lie on the police report in "self defense", against the public who has $ign$ in their eyes and just cant understand the, "heat of the moment.", that the police face.
  Im sure youre all comfortable with your corruption and think, 'who cares if he takes out a little 7 punches to his nose...we risk our lives out there?

               Cops are given the authority to use force because society expects them to have superior self control and follow the law. Just as we expect our astronauts not be claustrophobics who go ape shit and kill everyone aboard the shuttle.
   If Cardenas had gotten that gun he wouldve had a damn good case for self defense...we wouldnt even be talking about it if it was a cop that had 2 guys punching him in the face and pulled that gun.

    Why were you after him? 4 drinking a beer? what gang related crimes has he been charged/convicted of? I didnt see any charge or court date for his 'accepting stolen goods' charge. It looks like it was dismissed. Bratton said that the officers deserve the right to innocence...Where was Cardenas rights to innocence provided under ~

18 u.s.c Section 242

~ This statute makes it a crime for any person acting under color of law, statute, ordinance, regulation, or custom to willfully deprive or cause to be deprived from any person those rights, privileges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution and laws of the U.S.~

Article 4 of the Bill of Rights says, 'the right of the people to be secure in their persons...against unreasonable searches and seizures (ie. arrests 4 beer drinking), Shall not be violated, and no Warrants issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be search, and the persons or things to be seized. (Seeing how the Oath of the Arresting officer was a lie,  the probable cause is null and void...and Cardenas is not being charged for that which the warrant was issued, making the initial apprehension and following arrest totally unreasonable, cruel and unusual).

HERE COMES THE IMPEACHMENT

           House majority leader nancy pelosi says the democratic-led congress, under her, as speaker of the house, they plan to follow a positive, constructive agenda of legislation maybe reversing some of what the congress has done over the last decade. But she seems to be very vocally dismissing the idea of impeachment...when your quarterback gets injured and is unable to perform his duty properly, you remove him from the game then rehabilitate him. You dont leave him in the game and try to help him with his baby steps.
Dropping bush may be the only way to improve our standing in the world and start to undo the damage that six years of unchecked power has caused. Rumsfeld has already stepped down, but will the dems let him get off that easy?

I wont go into the fact that we killed 55,000 innocent civilians to "hang" their leader that killed 148 people.(but he gassed his own people, the hick will say, ignoring the fact Rumsfeld/Reagan gave him the gas to do it.) if they dont try bush, rumsfeld, gonzales, supreme court, republican senators that allowed him to run amok, then they are accessories to the violations...at which point it will be our constitutional duty to oust him.

3) Lied to congress, America, and the world about WMD's in Iraq (Reason for Clintons Impeachment). but he didnt lie...he got bad intelligence. Clinton also got bad intelligence on what sexual relations meant but he still got impeached.

4) Signing Statements (In July 2006, an American Bar Association task force released a report which concluded that George W. Bush's use of "signing statements" violates the Constitution.)

5) Kyoto Protocol (Bush refused to sign the Kyoto protocol, violating the law from the 1800's that mandates an individuals right to clean air)
